My reflections after the trip
I always wanted to visit the
U.S.A., but I didn't like the idea of me being a simple tourist, so I planned to
do a volunteering trip, so I could help other people and enjoying my holidays,
getting to know a new culture and discovering a new country. This volunteering trip
was the best experience of my life, it's beautiful to know that I helped other
people, people who need it. In the University of Miami Hospital I made many
friends, and I remember that, in my last day, that the boy I was taking care
of, gave me a beautiful draw and his parents thanked for being so kind with
their child, it felt very good because I realized that I was doing something useful
and people appreciate it. Thank goodness I did this!
I
encourage people to take the risk of going to another country, and help people,
it really worth it, take my word for it.

My first impression
Arriving to Miami, U.S.A. a week ago, I get to visit the whole city. The first thing I did was to go to Miami beach. IT WAS AWESOME!!! The sea water was green! And clean!! It was a beautiful experience, I also asked for a massage on the beach, and after that, I went to a bar two blocks from the there, where an Argentinean waitress took my order. I spoke to her for like an hour, it was very amusing. One of the first thing that surprised me, was to realize that there was more tourists than locals, most of the people on the streets were tourists, and most of them were Latin-Americans!
After lunch, I visited Miami downtown and it was one of the best experiences of my life, it was like a whole new world, with enourmous buildings and bridges. It's the biggest city I've ever seen.
